DCA-150 is designed to capture and passivate Ni and Fe. Its delta coke is very low so that it can be added at high rate while reducing the delta coke of the unit

Particularly useful when feed CCR and metal spike making the catalyst too active

Useful to handle temporary increases in resid feed

DCA-150 is under final stages of commercialization. It has been produced commercially and samples are available for independent testing

DCA-150 contains mixtures of highly selective pseudo-boehmites that encapsulate metals and very small particle size to enhance the pick-up factor of Ni and Fe that preferentially crack on the small particles
