ZSM-5 additives are used routinely now to increase C3 and C4 olefin production for petrochemical feedstocks or alkylate production.  Typical ZSM-5 additives contain between 25-45% ZSM-5 zeolite in an inert matrix.  Phosphorus activation is routinely used to improve the physical properties and the activity of the additives.
 

A limited number of units can benefit of ZSM-5 to increase gasoline octane due to aromatic concentration.
 

Quanta is now in process of commercially producing its own ZSM-5 additive to take advantage of this new technology.   Laboratory samples available.
